All Throughout the year, CAMELEON relies on the civil service volunteers who actively participate in the realization of the missions.
What is the civil service?
“It is a voluntary commitment to serve the general public, open to ages 16 to 25, extended to 30 years old for those who are handicapped. Accessible without the requirement of a college degree, the Civil Service is compensated by and carried out in France or abroad for a period of 6 to 12 months.”
The civil service is the opportunity to develop one’s skills, appreciation, and professional experience while investing oneself in a project that serves a purpose.
Two offers proposed by CAMELEON:
- “Exposure to International solidarity and awareness to the rights of children” → development and facilitation of consciousness-raising and prevention workshops in school centers.
- “Communication, event organization and rallying the general public” → support for community life, communication and facilitation activities.
